This issue is particularly prominent in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Lampang, Lamphun, Phayao, and Nan provinces, profoundly impacting the health of the populace. PM 2.5 significantly affects health and respiratory systems, both in the long term and short term.
In a demonstration of corporate social responsibility, Dr. Hygiene Medical Products Co., Ltd., a Thai manufacturer of KN95 and N95 face masks, has supported 1,000 masks to the Social Welfare Division of Chiang Mai Municipality. This initiative aims to provide vital protection against the worsening PM 2.5 dust situation in Chiang Mai, particularly for underprivileged residents.
On the 9th of September 2024, Ms.Sunanta Leelapattana , Deputy CEO. of Dr. Hygiene Medical Products Co., Ltd., donated 500 face masks to the Social Welfare Department of Chiang Mai Municipality. The donation was received by Ms. Umatip Srichan, Director of the Social Welfare Department. These face masks will be distributed to the public in the areas under the care of the Social Welfare Department of Chiang Mai Municipality.
